Our
Church at Horley
Our Church (or "Ecclesia") has about 70 members from all age groups and
a wide range of backgrounds. We also have a Sunday School of about 40
children and young people. Our unity is based firmly on our belief that
the Bible is the inspired word of God.
Meetings and Sunday School
Every Sunday morning* (see note) we meet together in The Keys Centre in
Court Lodge Road (see map on location page)
for our main weekly meeting. Our worship together includes Bible readings,
hymns and songs, prayers, a Bible-based talk and sharing Bread and Wine
to remember Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf. This "breaking of bread" meeting,
and Sunday School, both take place at 11am on Sundays, and last for about
an hour and a half.
* On the First Sunday of the month we begin at 10:30am
with an "All Ages" service of music, singing and an uplifting
talk, this is then followed by a short break after which the normal Meeting
begins at 11:15am
