Guildford Christadelphians
Guildford
Christadelphians are linked to Christadelphian congregations all
over the world. Christadelphians are people who believe and read
the Bible and, on that basis, understand that Jesus Christ is at
the centre of God's plan to fill the earth with His glory. Jesus
Christ was put to death, unjustly, by crucifixion, but God raised
him to life again and received him into heaven, because he had lived
without fault. Through him, others can have their sins forgiven
and be rescued from eternal oblivion at death. We expect the return
of Jesus Christ, to establish the Kingdom of God on this earth.
Faithful believers from down the ages will then be raised to life
to share in the glories of that kingdom.
Our
aims:
to
worship God, our heavenly Father; to honour Him by promoting and
trying to live by His principles, such as goodness, peace and love;
to honour Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whose death and resurrection
have opened up for us the hope of eternal life; to encourage each
other to understand more fully the wonders contained in God's book,
the Bible; to grow in assurance of the truths it contains; to live
lives based upon the teachings of Jesus; to share with other men
& women the reasons for the beliefs and hopes we have.
Christadelphians
remain a distinct sect or denomination because we believe a true
understanding of Bible teaching is important. Although almost none
of our beliefs are unique, we do not find in other groups the same
combination of teachings which, we find, fit together as a logical,
consistent whole. We are a lay community, having no paid ministers,
and no earthly head. It is our beliefs, based on the Bible, which
hold us together.
We
invite you to contact us by e-mail
or by coming to one of our meetings.

a world that now questions the existence of God, proof is
provided by the continued existence of the nation of Israel.
